About the Artist

Hattie is a photographer based in Cody, Wyoming, and a first-generation college student pursuing associate degrees in photography and graphic design at Casper College. Growing up homeschooled gave her a unique educational background, one that fostered independence and creativity but also made the transition to college life a meaningful step outside of her comfort zone.

Hattie’s passion for photography began in 2022 when She first picked up a camera, initially as a hobby. During her early years, she explored a wide range of subjects from landscapes to sports. Before discovering her true interest in capturing the intensity and emotion of athletic moments. As an athlete herself, she developed a deeper appreciation for the game through the camera lens, finding beauty in the energy, focus, and raw authenticity of competition.

Photography has become more than an artistic outlet; it has shaped the way she see’s movement, emotion, and human connection. Her goal is to continue building her skills and experience to pursue a professional career in sports photography, capturing the dynamic and inspiring moments that define athletic performance.
